You may have been contacted by Complement International Limited, or are considering approaching Complement International Limited about becoming one of our advisors. I have received a message from you; why are you contacting me?


As part of our support services, our clients sometimes ask to be connected with specialists in the field, in order to learn more about a particular topic or industry. We have reached out to you as we think that you could be a good match for a client of ours, who wants to speak with people of your expertise. Of course, we would be happy to compensate you for your time in speaking with our client. It would be great if we could discuss the opportunity with you in more detail and we’ll be happy to arrange a quick chat at a mutually convenient time.



Is this an employment opportunity?


No, we have contacted you as a potential advisor, not as recruiters. Our client is looking for expertise on a one-off basis (generally by means of a short telephone conversation), for which you will be compensated. We can schedule consultations at a mutually convenient time and around your work or personal commitments. 



What is likely to be discussed during the phone consultation?


We will be happy to chat through the specifics of the topic with you and can share a full brief prior to the consultation itself. In general, our clients are usually looking for a perspective on your sector; how it works, how it may be changing and your own experiences from working in or around the sector.



How do you ensure confidentiality?


You will never be expected to answer questions that you do not feel comfortable with and we will share a list of questions with you in advance of the consultation. If you have any concerns, we will be happy to discuss these and you are free to decline to answer any question. Our clients do not ask, nor do they want, any information that would feel confidential or proprietary. In order to be comfortable and eligible for participation in a consultation, you would view and agree to our compliance terms in advance of accepting a consultation.



You mentioned compensation?


After you have completed the consultation with our client, you make a request for payment to us and we will send you the agreed amount.



If I am interested, what are the next steps?


We will need to have a short phone call with you, to make sure that you are a good fit. Please just let us know your number and the best time to reach you.  During this call, we can also chat through any questions or concerns that you may have. If you are a good fit, happy to proceed and able to accept our Advisor Terms and Conditions and Compliance terms we will arrange a mutually convenient time for you to speak with our client, via conference call. For your comfort, assurance and understanding and so that we can provide you with additional information, please do ensure that you have read our Advisor Terms and Conditions prior to confirming your interest.



I am not interested, how should I respond?


We’re sorry to have troubled you. If you are not interested in proceeding, please just let us know and we will be sure not to contact you again.



I have not received a message from you, but I would be interested in registering with you as an Advisor?


We are always pleased to hear from high-caliber individuals seeking to register as potential Advisors. Please do get in touch via our website to register your interest, although we would stress that we work on specific briefs, often in very niche areas and are unable to offer a high volume of consultations to each Advisor.
